I want to be able to have a non-public website that works as a stock market data retrieval engine. Gathering information such as (Open, High,Low, Close, Volume) and then calculating that data into a couple different calculations. Functionality should include a very simple UI and the ability to type in a Symbol(s) and a date range and select what calculated values to be displayed for each specific day for that specific stock. Storing these results in Sharepoint lists is the idea, but Open to change if need be. This was attempted to be built in a ACCESS with the APP side on a SharePoint site. This however proved impossible.
