Help dealing with "untracked working tree file" when pulling to server

I pull from a bitbucket repo to my server - with the following simple command: "git pull https:// temp[at][login to view URL]" THE ISSUE: My pull is often aborted because of errors like the following: "error: Untracked working tree file 'wp-content/uploads/2015/11/[login to view URL]' would be overwritten by merge. Aborting" YOUR TASK: Guide me on how to deal with this error so I can get my pull through
