Cartoon Character for Infomercial and branding

Looking for a talented cartoonist to create and brand a character for a cartoon infomercial and product package and marketing material branding for a kids product. Many prospective projects for the right candidate with many products as we are the As Seen ON TV Company but to start we need a young wizard type character created for our Magic Pens product branding and infomercial. This bid is only for the character and we will most likely use you on the cartoon itself - a much bigger job He is a little dude with a wizard cloak and hat - a harry potter type, (since he has been transformed with these magic pens) but younger and cooler/wackier - We Already have examples from our in house graphic design just needs the cartoonist touch to add the character and bring him to life. Use the examples as a starting point or start from scratch. The product is a set of magic markers with the main market for kids but very effective for artists of all ages. The branding will be for website product packaging, promotional/marketing material and eventually a much larger project with an infomercial for Television. Creative with small 1-page storyline is helpful involving our young wizard. The cartoon strip will depict a young wizard, "Spreading his magic color transformation, erasing, 3_D designs and decoding of secret messages with his decoder pen/wand. A young kid that with his pens is transformed into a very wacky and creative magician type with his Magic Pens... . We're looking for some creativity in how this is presented. We have ideas and could use creativity. Included in the sample image we're looking for you to capture the fun and wackyness - Picture the average little dude open his market pens and WOW he has a magic cloak and hat and is changing color, erasing colors creating a new world of 3Dimentional Feel free to improve on the the package art or create your own from new. This "MAGIC PENS" character branding project is product specific as there are many As Seen On TV products we create each year and each needs branding. This product is in the kids category and needs a character. Our In-house creative has put together the concepts. We now need a Cartoonist to have this Character come to life, have appeal to the young target market. See the two attachments of the creative: 1. is a wacky spectacle wearing young dude with the attire of a wizard since his Magic Pens Magically Change Color, Erase Color and do 3D designs with the help of his wand (the white pen that activates&decodes the color change/erase/3D... 2. is the same wacky young spectacle wearing kid now in a classic 50's detective set up, Dick Tracy type style, (since his pens create secret messages that can only be decoded with this decoder pen. * So we are looking to make this wacky young character attractive for the young target market, do not want target too young but we need to be cool and associated with the color change, secret message all in all we got with this very cool Magic Markers.
