How You Can Make an Impact: Main administrative responsibilities may include managing multiple calendars, scheduling logistics for various business and travel activities, maintaining project files, and performing research for and carrying out special projects. Marketing responsibilities may include drafting, editing, and updating marketing content, competitive intelligence, and other sales collateral as required. Specific tasks include: • Managing multiple calendars, including appointments and meetings • Assisting with correspondence (email, mail, phone) • Preparing and/or editing business, marketing, and other documents • Drafting, editing, and updating product brochures, web content, press releases and other sales and marketing collateral • Updating and researching competitive intelligence reports • Booking travel and coordinating travel schedules for managers and employees • Maintaining vehicle(s) (insurance, servicing) • Managing expenses and payments • Planning special events and activities • Completing miscellaneous tasks/projects as required Who we are looking for: • 1 - 2 years experience assisting C-level executives in a business environment • 1 years experience working on marketing initiatives • Entrepreneurial, proactive and confident self-starter with strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and maintain a calm and pleasant demeanor in a busy environment while meeting deadlines • Superior written and oral English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is essential • Valid driver's license is a must and access to own vehicle strongly recommended • A university or college graduate or preferably with a degree in Marketing or Business • A great sense of humor is a definite asset! Most of time my laptops remain switched on even when I sleep. Secondly, USB device gives me extra benefit that my internet connection never breaks as laptops also run on backup batteries.
