Advising about email marketing software and its setup

I am planning to do a ONE-TIME (not periodical) email marketing campaign and I thought a little technical advise would help. What I have in mind as the first option for sending the emails is using hMailServer local mail server application together with an email client (Thunderbird with MailMerge plugin). But first I want to have an overview of all possibilities that are out there and compare. So what I need is : 1). Suggest a number of options best suited for my situation (not limited to third party services such as mailchimp) and make a comparison table for them - advantages, disadvantages, prices, etc. 2). Detailed advising on how to setup the programs on local computer, including: how to do so that the emails will get into recipient's Inbox folder, not into their Spam folder; how to set a pause interval between messages to be sent, etc. (to be discussed) * Notes: - You need to have experience using at least hMailServer. If you know other similar ones too that's even better, but DON'T bid if you have used only third party services such as mailchimp. - The job is NOT about actually sending the emails. - Ask anything you need to know before bidding. - Automatic bids will be dismissed.
