Hello, my recommendation is to use Vuforia as their SDK and service is free to use initially (supports up to 3,000 image recognitions per month and managing up to 1,000 different images) and can can be upgraded to a paid plan later (the pricing on Layar, Wikitude and other AR platforms is quite restrictive and non-practical), and their image recognition techology is among the best.
Our bid covers the implementation of an iPhone app branded with your logo and company details, integrated with the Vuforia platform, and we'll provide you with a one-on-one remote training session on how to use the Vuforia platform to self-publish images to be recognized by the app and uploading the video to be played upon recognition. The app will also allow the user to post the video (YouTube) to their Facebook or Twitter account.
The app will be ready to be published to the iTunes app store by late October. We'll take care also of the whole process of publishing it to iTunes.
We can also create the Android app at a 20% discount, using this this bid as the base price.
We can also later integrate the app with GIS or any other shopping platform so users purchase items and add them to their cart by just pointing their camera at a photo or an object.
If you've any questions please let me know.
Best Regards,
Abraham
