Background: I need an application that will allow me to attribute polygons in AutoCAD MAP3D 2016 with a predefined string, in this case an address. The polygons will be on a separate layer called Plots Each polygon will have a number placed in the middle of the polygon, on a separate layer (Numbers). The above steps will be done by our staff Task: Create a dialog box that allows for the following: Allow the user to determine the layer that Plots are on via a drop down box Allow the user to determine the layer that the Numbers are on via a drop down box A Key in field that allows the user to enter the prefix or post fix for the address Eg if the number in the polygon is 5, we would need to enter a string of alphanumeric characters such as ROM-RC-A-; so that the code would be ROM-RC-A-5 We require two Radio style Buttons to determine if the address field is going to be pre or post the number in the polygon eg -A-RC-ROM so that the result will be 5-A-RC-ROM A Field for the user to enter the number for padding too the number, eg 0005, or 005, or 05, or just 5 if no padding is required The application needs to be compiled into a .NET assemblies *.dll format that can be called up from the AutoCAD Command Line via the NETLOAD command

Hi, I'm very familiar with VB .Net with AutoCAD. I created a lot of applications running inside AutoCAD using Autolisp, VBA and VB .Net. I have also a blog in French (you can find the address in my portfolio) about VB .net programming with AutoCAD. My last post was about how to create dialog box. Dear Sir! With more than 10 years experience on develop application for AutoCAD; I believe my services would be complete project at high quality and on time. I'm familiar with built an assembly *.dll format that can be call up with command NetLoad in AutoCAD. Your project can be divided into two main parts: - design a dialog box to input data. - working with objects (Polygon and Text label) : modify, update them And, I think that the budget of the project may be greater than my bid.
