Hi everyone,
I work a lot with PDB files (Protein Data Bank; [login to view URL]), and while there are a lot of PDB viewers out there, I would like to be able to import them into Maya 2009 so that I can do advanced animations and whatnot. I have read a bit about mel scripts that are able to do this, but I don't have the expertise to implement anything. I have also read that the mel scripts available are outdated for the current Maya version.
I need a graphics guru to help me figure out how to import a PDB file into Maya 2009.
I am welcome to all comments and questions. Please post your bid estimate and Maya experience and I'll gt back to you as quick as I can.
I can also supply you with a few PDBs, but they are simple to grab from pdb.org.
Thanks!
Brett
