I have installed osCommerce v2.3.1 shopping cart on my website and have configured it according to the documentation provided. I have input my products into it, and I believe it is configured properly. I have also installed the ccBill Dynamic Pricing payment module to handle the payment processing. When I did a test order, the credit card charge did go through ccBill and was reflected in the ccBill database and the credit card was charged. However, the order did not show up in the osCommerce back office. The customer shopping cart did not clear, and the stock was not depleted to reflect the order. The ccBill Dynamic Pricing module (v2.2) was programmed for an earlier version of osCommerce (v2.2) so some data is not being updated properly. There are database differences in v2.3.1 that may be effecting how the data is written during the checkout process. An osCommerce associate suggested checking the code to ensure the database variables are correct. The CCBill code has to be altered to integrate with v2.3.1. I need a programmer to change the ccBill Dynamic Pricing module (v2.2) programming code to integrate properly with the osCommerce shopping cart (v2.3.1). Another part of the project relates to ccBill's other software used to integrate with hard goods shopping carts that may be needed to integrate in such a way as to get the final result I want. The following is from the ccBill website: "CCBill single and recurring shipment solutions also include advanced APIs for seamless integration into your website, and a Client Driven Settlement System (CDS). Essentially, CDS lets you pre-authorize the transaction when customers order a product, and charge the transaction when the product has shipped." I have not downloaded or installed this software yet, and this software might be required. I've attached an addendum provided by ccBill that describes the CDS system. The final result should be as follows: From the customer's perspective: The customer can order a product, they receive an email that their order is being processed, they receive another email when the product has shipped, their credit card is billed when the product is shipped. From my perspective as the webmaster: I login to osCommerce back office. I can see that the customer has placed an order (orders don't show up right now even though they should). I can view the order details (which I can't right now). I can authorize the credit card be charged when I personally ship the product(this is where the ccBill CDS software might be needed). The product stock number is altered to reflect the sale (this doesn't happen right now), the order reflects that the order is complete. I login to ccBill back office. I can see that the customer's credit card has been billed. (this does happen now but it should only happen when I authorize the credit card be billed when I have shipped the product). So, this project is a relatively simple code change of an existing program and adding another program to help integrate even better.
