Custom Social Networking Site

Project Description: We need a website developed, either from scratch, or from a template you may have already created that we can customize. We will provide you with a very detailed outline of what we are looking for. We are looking for developers who have experience creating and designing SOCIAL NETWORKING sites and that can provide us with examples of such sites that are running currently LIVE. The site's setup can be comparable to google plus, twitter, diaspora (CLEAN design), with many social features. Our registered users will be able to explore the social features of our site. Our site will consist of a homepage with the standard homepage tabs, links, sections and features. It will also consist of a personalized homepage (post-user login), where everything on this page will be tailored to the user, as far as their geographical location and other personal features. The site will also include social pages, where users can interact with others, post comments, chat with each other, etc... Our site will need to hold an unlimited amount of users, hypothetically millions of users at one time, so you should have the capabilities as a developer to create a site that can not only hold this many users, but to create a site that can run QUICKLY and SMOOTHLY without any glitches.
