script to decrypt OpenOffice / XML files

The job is to create a script/program that will open OpenOffice (OASIS) documents and split it into it's xml components, decrypt the password protected component (Using the supplied password) of the Document, and then reassemble the OpenOffice file, in effect removing the password. Or re-encrypting it with a new password The intention is to be able to automate the removal or changing of the password protection from masses of documents having the same password. We also have a small handful of password protected documents where the secretaries have made typos when entering the passwords (And where it wasn't something obvious like capslock being on). It would be useful if the utility would be able to make permutations of say a maximum of 1 character in the decoding process to second guess these typos (I don't know if this is violating the rentacoder agreement terms - it is not bruteforcing attempts I am looking for) The program is for use in an office environment with thousands of password protected documents, and they need to be changed because of reorganisation. In the future, we might request another add-on so the utility will also be able to work with the old OpenOffice 1 document types. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux
