**This is a standard e-commerce site.** The task is to build a functioning e-commerce website that enables users to browse a list of students and choose one or more to donate money to. Users create accounts, login, browse student details, donate money, and see a summary of their donation activity on a summary page. The website must support a administration GUI where special users can to add, modify, and delete student and user records, content, and configure details. If you want to use code from another site/project and modify it for this task, that’s fine. I am concerned most with the quality of the code: bug-free, functioning, scalable, efficient, and logically organized.
**The design of the site is already complete.** The site design is in the PPT file attached. So your job will be to implement the site and to ensure the design is consistent. The design is somewhat ‘loose’ ??" you would need to create a header/footer and make sure it’s consistent. Also, some of the design elements will change after you finish the coding, so please break up the image files and use CSS styles so we can make changes later.
**This is a programming job.** I do not expect you to work on the graphic/UI design of the site. Instead, I want a high-quality, well-coded, functioning website. No fancy additional graphics are needed but it should look like the PPT design included. This job requires technical skills to create a database-driven site that can be updated via an administrator panel. The administrators will need to update database records as well as some content (e.g. blog, news).
**I am open to PHP, Joomla, Drupal, and ASP.NET (etc.).** I am most concerned about ensuring that the site has an administration panel for non-geeks to use. The administrators will be non-experts.
