We are a new UK-based hotel booking portal seeking a professional freelance php developer to integrate our MySQL-based database system via a custom-written api, with a view to connect to other industry-standard centralised database systems that utilise the OpenTravel XML standard. This is to ensure that our online booking information (room availability etc) is automatically updated when hotel guests place a booking with another hotel booking provider. Applicants must be familiar with object-orientated methodologies and algorithms, and should have good knowledge and experience with XML transactions. Previous experience working with other hotel portal systems is a bonus.â It is essential that the successful applicant has a commitment level that drives them to start working on this project with immediate effect.â Regular work will be given if successful
