Write some Software or script that can Allow to record a 10 second of full video

Hi, my name is Matt S Rinc and *I can* help you (have done similar scripts in last 20 years of software development) but you need to have some web host requirements: 1. PHP (not a problem). 2. ffmpeg software (might be a problem, usually not installed, to install it you need secure shell access so better hosting). 3. Enough bandwidth (if you are not the only user uploading a video at the same time plus your connection to the remote cloud space e.g. Mediafire must be adequate). I doubt you have there requirements fulfilled but I am interested in your reply. Matt

Greetings! I believe you are aware that for something like this we would need VPS (not ordinary web hosting packer)? Of course it can be done, and I can do it, but there would have to be some background programs installed on Linux (as some command line video converter) and few more additional PHP libraries. Hi, As requested: "i can" I have developed software for over 20 years, and I'm comfortable with most web-related technologies, as well as command-line video editing using ffmpeg and the like. Most of your project description is quite straightforward. I have a couple of questions though: - when you say "create a post with...", what platform are you using? Wordpress? Something else? Or do you just want me to insert the data in a database and they you can do anything you want with it? - do you have any preference about how the 10 screenshots are selected? Just evenly-spaced along the length of the video? - any preference on the scripting language used? I prefer perl, but I can accommodate other languages/frameworks if needed. - you need to be able to run background tasks and access ffmpeg on the server, so of course "lightweight" web hosting will not do, you need at least a VPS or equivalent or a dedicated server.
