Custom IE Toolbar

Develop a customizable toolbar, with search box and quick links to be written perferably in VB or VB.net. The toolbar would be downloaded from our site and installed on the users system after agreeing to the terms and conditions in the security warning. The serach box will querry our search site and display results to the user. The quick links will be a variable number of links next to the search box in the toolbar with an icon (supplied by us) and a text description. No use of 3rd party controls (API okay). The toolbar should have the following features in addition to the search box and quick links. 1- Check master server at variable intervals (every hour - every week) for sofware updates and moidifications to toolbar variables 2- Ability to place Icons and /or Links on the user Desktop 3- Ability to add Links to user Favorites 4- Ability to change IE Homepage to a URL specified by us 5- Capture error pages (404 , 500, etc) and parse the url, send info to master server, and output a page specified by us 6- Ability to change the quick links URLs, icons, and text descriptions. 7- Ability to download and install additional applications upon server command An unistaller for the toolbar will also be needed. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site). ## Platform IE 6+
