Website creation / renovation

I am interested in a website overhaul for my site ( [login to view URL] ). I designed it nearly 5 years ago and maintain it to this day but it’s time to get up to date. I produce a TV and WEB show that features restaurants, bars, nightlife, fashion, art, etc in Indianapolis. I’ve produced 50 episodes in the northern Indiana market (South Bend / Notre Dame area) and have over 20 episodes for Indy so far. Currently the only way to view episodes featuring different restaurants and nightlife is with the arbitrary episode numbering system at the top of every page of the website. This is not very informative or user friendly. I would like to switch to a navigation system that allows users to search for episodes based on different criteria while still keeping the episode number system in place. Users should be able to search for video content / episodes based on keywords (like sushi, bar, steak, hamburger, live music etc) as well as geographically (downtown Indy, Carmel, Zionsville, etc). And also perhaps a major category filter function (like RESTAURANT, BAR, FASHION ) Once a user is on an episode page, they should be able to view the video / episode in full screen. I’ve been .flv files for all the videos. I also do LIVE streaming content for various events / venues in the city. There would need to be a page setup to accept embedded code for a service like USTREAM or Livestream. I would also need to maintain a few categories. For example: EPISODES | FASHION |quickBITS (which is just a page for random videos, bloopers, etc) | LIVE STREAMING VIDEO | UPCOMING EVENTS / FILMING CALENDAR. I would also like to incorporate functionality to the major social sites like Facebook and Twitter. Perhaps a function that checks to see if they are following us and if they are NOT will show a popup with a “follow us” request and buttons for FB and Twitter. I would also like to be able to maintain the site and make changes as new episodes and video content is ready. I would imagine this would be fairly easy. As you can see on the site, on the episode pages, I have added Twitter feeds to the restaurants / bars / entities that were featured in that particular episode as well as a Foursquare button that when clicked, will add the locations to the user’s Foursquare account. It’s important that this functionality be possible on the new site. I also need a way for user’s to subscribe to the email newsletter. I currently use [login to view URL] (Your Mailing List Provider). User’s should also be able to LIKE or TWEET any page. Website and especially videos should be viewable on PC and MacOS including iPad and maybe at some point mobile friendly.
