Convert or re-write a previously developed Palm OS stopwatch application to run similarly on Pocket PC. Program must support all Pocket PC machines (HP Ipaq, Dell Axim, etc.) * See software "Multi Runner Split Timer" on attached Palm emulator ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Friday May 13, 2005 5:19:40 PM: I have attached an emulator with the Palm version of the software to the bid. Please examine and reply with your bid. Thanks * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Tuesday May 17, 2005 10:45:46 AM: To clarify how the software works, I am posting the following details in addition to the emulator which you can down load from the bid: Build a Pocket PC stopwatch program useing the PDA's internal clock for timing that: - Runs upto 6 namable stopwatches at the same time capable of timing six individuals at once - Has at least 99 lap records - Maps the PDA's four hardware buttons and up/down button to split the accompanying six stopwatches - Has a lap records listing screen for reviewing the records - Can export the lap records to memopad or Word - Has a "Disable pda's auto off" feature Here’s how the current Palm program I developed works: Name Your Timers - Each watch is namable. Enter the initials or name for each runner competing in the race. The first two letters that you enter for each timer will be displayed next to the timer on the main screen. (sel ected from the "Settings" feature on the menu) Start The Race - You simply press and hold the on-screen Start button. When the gun fires, you release and all six timers begin. Take Lap Splits - Use the handheld’s four hard buttons and up and down button to take splits as each runner finishes each lap. Each button is assigned to a separate timer. From left to right, Timer 1 uses Calendar, Timer 2 uses Contacts, Timer 3 uses Up, Timer 4 uses Down, Timer 5 uses QMenu, Timer 6 uses QStart buttons. The software also includes an on-screen All-Split button that allows you to get the same split for all six watches at the same time. During The Race - As the race progresses, each timer records the lap split and the number of laps completed for each runner, large numbers on the bottom zoom the total running time and show the last split for any timer you select. Want To View All Laps Completed? - Select the Lap Records feature and you can see all lap times for all timers anytime during the race. The software uses the handheld device’s internal clock, so the time keeps running even if you open another program. When The Race Is Over - Select Export and the software sends all the data of the race to a file in the handheld’s memo or Word program. When you sync the handheld with the PC, you will have a digital record of the race that includes the name of each athlete, each and every split time, the total time and the date and time of the race. * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Tuesday May 17, 2005 10:47:54 AM: To clarify how the software works, I am posting the following details in addition to the emulator which you can down load from the bid: Build a Pocket PC stopwatch program useing the PDA's internal clock for timing that: - Runs upto 6 namable stopwatches at the same time capable of timing six individuals at once - Has at least 99 lap records - Maps the PDA's four hardware buttons and up/down button to split the accompanying six stopwatches - Has a lap records listing screen for reviewing the records - Can export the lap records to memopad or Word - Has a "Disable pda's auto off" feature Here’s how the current Palm program I developed works: Name Your Timers - Each watch is namable.
