236630 Customized Articles Script

I need a new feature for my busy social networking site that will function similar to an article directory, but should be customized so it smoothly blends into my current site and uses it's current back end (member login, admin panel, comment system, etc.) The site is custom programmed in PHP with MySQL databases and is on a dedicated server with Linux operating system. I have specific requirements that I will discuss in PM. Remember, you will be updating a website that was built by somebody else, hence you must be a well rounded programmer able to read and understand other people's scripts. This is also a large and busy site that has thousands of visitors on it any given time of day. You must be able to program highly optimized, fast loading scripts and have mindblowing MySQL optimizing skills so the database load is minimal even if the article gets hundred of responses and thousands of hits per minute. Programmers with cut and paste messages containing 30 links to dubious sites will be ignored and blocked so they don't bother me in future.
