Web crawling websites and gathering data

Hello everyone and thank you for your time. The project we are talking about involves data gathering from 3 different websites (for now), a web portal where anyone can see that data and an admin panel where we can manage the data (edit / delete / add). The work is divided in 3 phases: PHASE I : Developing the engine behind the crawling of the websites. We must be able to provide "maps" for websites and the engine to successfully read those websites and save the data (or update if we already have the information) - the data are simple property listings. This process must be developed in Python. PHASE II: Developing and designing the portal for the users - not your task, so do not estimate on this Phase. PHASE III: Developing and designing the admin panel where we can edit the data - not your task, so do not estimate on this Phase. All you need to develop is the PHASE I, so the engine that reads websites based on "maps" and save/update that data. Also please do include at the beginning of your presentation the words 'howdy stranger' so I know you've read the description. Thank you all in advance and good luck!
