We are a small business that has started to expand rapidly and in need for a POS system. We have reached out to a former freelancer to build the software however, a couple of issues arose after delivery. One of our main issues is setting up the connection between the POS system and the printer hardware. The System is web based and so, it would use the web printer as it cannot identify a printer linked to it. Another issue is with the user interface as it looks vey messy and needs to be arranged in a simple way for use. We are having issues connecting the register, printers and barcode scanner. However, all drivers are installed and updated and work when using Microsoft word. We would like for the system to print 2 things: a receipt and individual cup labels for each order with details of each cup. All information about hosting server and code is available. As the hardware works with MS Word, a native Windows app derived from the existing solution should solve the remaining portion holding back work. I make native apps. Will you please find & let me know which platforms need to be supported & whether the existing web client's source is available? Also, for using case specific barcode scanner, give me more specification w. r. t. it. I hope to get a working solution for this soon. Thanks, regards, -CVipulS.
