I am a first time app developer who has found reasonable success with my first app offering (iDiscrete) and I am looking for a talented and RELIABLE coder to take it to the next level.

The current version of iDiscrete is very sloppy code, and to accommodate all the future features I want to implement, I am pretty sure that iDiscrete 2.0 needs to be completely rewritten. Important features to have in 2.0 are iOS 4/retina display compatibility, multiple file uploading, eventual iPad optimized version, and a list of about 20 more (with varying degrees of importance). Not EVERY new feature on the list needs to be included in the 2.0 release, but building a solid, easily expandable framework from which to "start over" is the primary goal (and would be the final deliverable for this project). Ideally, I would like to find a talented and dedicated coder to partner with moving forward, who can work on all future iDiscrete updates (of course, the details of that arrangement would be worked out if/when the time came).
Additionally, I have recently formed an app development LLC, and I have a number of app ideas outside of iDiscrete. If we both decide the partnership is a good fit, I have work that could keep you employed for the foreseeable future ;-)
## Deliverables
Additional information:
iDiscrete was not only my first app, but also my first experience with vWorker. The first coder who got iDiscrete to its current state (version 1.2.1) had to leave the project for lack of sufficient free time to work on it. I used vWorker to (tentatively) hire a new coder, but it has not been working out. He has proved very unreliable, both in terms of communication with me and producing a final product (I was originally quoted 1 week, and it has been 9, with no submission to Apple to show for it). It was he who convinced me that the current code is very sloppy and needs to be completely rewritten for 2.0. However, he thinks that 2.0 will take some time, and so decided to release 1.3 as a stop-gap solution for the two most complained about problems: image/video compression (horrible on the retina display) and lack of multiple file uploading. But again, he has proved unreliable in producing a working 1.3, having sent me 5 or 6 versions to test, all with huge, unacceptable problems. At this point I have very little faith that a working 1.3 will ever come my way, and I want to hire a new coder ASAP. If hired, you'll have access to our entire conversation since the beginning of the project, and the source code that he HAS completed. I have no idea if you could fix the errors in his code, or if you'd have to write your own. But at least, you could see what he has been doing for 9 weeks.
As you can see from iDiscrete's website, there is both an "official" App Store version, and a version only for jailbroken devices (called iDiscrete JB). Moving forward, both of these versions must be maintained, and if anything, I would see adding additional "illegal" features to the JB version in the future. It would be a huge benefit if you had experience working on JB apps, or with the JB community.
Again, what I'm really looking for here is a reliable coder with whom to form a partnership. I am a fountain of app ideas, but I lack the technical skills to bring them to fruition myself. Thus, my LLC has to be a two person effort (at a minimum). If you think you would be a good fit for the second half of the equation, I welcome speaking with you.
Thanks!
