I'll soon be starting a rental service shop with Shopify. I want to make sure that my customers ship the product back to me by creating some kind of deposit. This deposit must only be seen when the customers are about to pay (checkout) or in their shopping cart (but they obviously can't remove it). I was thinking of a solution where another product would automatically be added to the shopping cart, for example on top of the rented product there would be a "deposit rented product" right under it. This second product would be refunded as soon as we get the product back. If you think of any other solution, please feel free to inform me. I hope I was clear enough, if not, send me an email.
