They should discuss the cybercrime or cybercriminal according to the following points: What is the incident/who is the person? Describe. What was the harm(s) caused by the incident/ person? Was there a resolution (legal or otherwise) to the incident/was the person apprehended? 4 ) Students should identify and research a controversial intellectual property dispute in information technology currently in the news. List the websites, articles and other resources used, and provide links where possible. Students should follow the minimum length requirements for multi-part questions outlined in the syllabus. They should discuss the cybercrime or cybercriminal according to the following points: What is the dispute? Why is it considered controversial? What are the repercussions of the dispute? How can the actual (or future) repercussions of the dispute affect the field of information technology? 5 )Students should identify and research a privacy issue currently in the news. They can consult the Electronic Privacy Information Center website or other resources for ideas. List the websites, articles and other resources used, and provide links where possible. Students should follow the minimum length requirements for multi-part questions outlined in the syllabus. They should discuss the privacy issue according to the following points: What is the specific privacy issue? From the perspective of privacy professionals, what are the specific concerns about this issue? Do you believe the privacy professionals concerns are warranted? Why or why not? 6)Students should identify and research an Internet governance issue currently in the news or one they are professionally familiar with. List the websites, articles and other resources used, and provide links where possible. Students should follow the minimum length requirements for multi-part questions outlined in the syllabus. They should discuss the governance issue according to the following points: What is the specific internet governance issue? Describe. Who are the stakeholders in this issue? Explain. What is the current status of the issue? Students’ responses to each discussion prompt must be minimum of 400 words, unless otherwise specified. In other words, a single-question assignment response should be a minimum of 400 words, whereas a multiple-question assignment should reflect a minimum of 200 words for each question posed. Responses must have a clear, well-formulated thesis. Strong and correct sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, and spelling count towards the grade. Response should be insightful, thoughtful, and analytical.
