We are seeking a native-speaking translator(s) to translate our English sci-fi (short eBook novel) into the following Nordic language: [1] Norwegian [2] Swedish [3] Finnish. == BOOK BACKGROUND == The English version of sci-fi is available on Amazon (with page preview): [login to view URL] This vimeo trailer briefly shows you the book's content, for your reference: [login to view URL] == REQUIREMENT == [1..] This job is for translating the sci-fi into one language (i.e. one of the above three). [2..] You MUST be a native speaker (among those language), with SCI-FI & NOVEL translation experience. [3..] Translation includes story text, book title, character names and object names (e.g. sci-fi tech, encyclopedia etc...) into Nordic under a clear intention / instruction / idea from our author. [4..] Signing of NDA and other forms are required. == WORK DETAILS == [1..] The total length is around 5500 (story) + 2500 (encyclopedia) English words. The budget is 400 USD, paying in two milestones. [2..] Expected completion time will be 20~60 days, upon discussion. [3..] Unless your translation is under quality, you will be credited inside the book as translator (or equivalent title) once the book is published. English to Finnish translation for sci-fi eBook. Hi! I am a native Finn owing excellent translation and writing skills. I started to read at the age of 5 and have since read everything I have got in my hands. My teachers have highly appreciated my writing skills as I am able to write both interesting and grammatically correct text. I have natural comprehension of "tones" also in English language and I believe I would be very good candidate for you. As an adult woman I have seen and read a lot of things and won't get scared easily :) (I have translated also adult content and it mostly made me laugh.) Some domination and violence are ok, as long as it is fictive :) The only thing I would never translate would be violence towards animals and children.
