Hi, My name is Stefan and I work as a copywriter at the European Bartender School. We are established in 14 countries on four continents. I write to you as we are now looking for translators/copywriters for a long-term cooperation. We have emails, blogs and a website that regularly needs translation from English to French, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish and Italian. Our target group are in the ages between 18-27 years, so the lyrics should not be complicated or consist of any difficult words, but rather simply constructed with simple words. We do not want our texts to be translated sentence by sentence. The text just has to come out with the same point and has the same meaning as the original; more important is that the text you write has a good flow and a good tone for our target group. So it´s more about writing a good text with the same point rather then translating. In the current situation, we have our website in 9 languages but it is just directly translated resulting in a very bad text in any language but English. We now realize that we need to rewrite the website and tailor it to each individual market/language/country. As the first project is to work with me and with the help of our briefs to go through section by section until the website is complete. Our emails and marketing materials also need a proper rewrite. At the same time, and after this project, you will continually get new texts in the form of marketing materials, emails and around 2 blogs a week. We also have a terminology list where we have put in some bartender terms that cannot be translated or they have a special word in your native language.
