Hello, I have been working with FPGA systems using Verilog and VHDL languages for more than ten years. I already implemented pure HDL PID controller in Verilog for one of my clients. I see that you mention controlling speed and position of the DC motor. So this can be either achieved using a cascaded PID controller or just a PID for position control (the I term will be ramping the velocity). We can have further discussions on the details of the encoder for position feedback, DAC or PWM output for command etc. Once we have sorted out the details we can set the milestones accordingly for interim payments against milestones/deliverables.
