Need to create fillable template for furnace equipment proposal / estimate that would go out to interested custumers. The product is waste oil furnaces and includes several variables including size, model, location, investment amount, and optional addons (see attachment tab Rqst) The fillable template can be in any platform including but not limited to excel, word, access or any other as long as it provides the desired output which is, a pintable word like looking proposal as seen in attachment tab P1,P2 and STL MA). The attachment is not fully automated and a lot of different manual adjustments need to be made before the final product is done. The purpose is to automate the output by just requesting the main inputs in the RQST tab. Data will need to be merged with existing business verbage and presented as simple as posible in the output. The rest of the tabs are side calculations for the output aswell. This is a very small startup business that's trying to simplifly and automate this process.

Hello, I have been working as a financial and data analyst for about 7 years now building various automated reports. I can do this for you in Excel very simply or I can do something more complex in Access that will have an Access form to enter or select the data from, then VBA will be used to export this to a Word document (I already have the code, I recently built something that did what I described).

The simplest approach is to create one table, one form and one report in MS Access. The table would always have only one record, and the report (your proposal) would print the data that is stored in the single record of the one table. A very simple form would be created to facilitate maintaining the data in the record. If you want to store multiple records (perhaps for history) the complexity and scope increases very quickly. If you want to manage a variety of data for your company, then you need a backend database designed specifically to meet your company’s business requirements. My MS Access experience covers everything from complex, multi-user distributed (front end – back end) applications, to quick, disposable, ad hoc utilities. I am proficient in Access SQL and VBA, so I am able to code complex business logic and create very intuitive, easily-navigated user interfaces. I also have extensive knowledge of Access ADP (Access front end, SQL Server back end) applications. Many of my Access databases have been in daily use for years without any serious problems. As a data modeler, I know how to create a data structure that is flexible and able to grow and change along with your business requirements. My Access user interfaces are intuitive and designed for easy, stream-lined data entry. I also have the VBA coding skills to make the user interface as user-friendly as required. Access is also my favorite report writing environment, so my reports compliment the data structure and the user interface. Follow up support for my client is something I take very serious. The manner in which I design and document a project enables me to quickly provide technical support and revisions, even after years of separation from the project. My work and availability schedule is very flexible and accommodating. Numerous references and samples of my work are available upon request.
