You need a sharp writer with great attention to detail and excellent skills. My education and training make me an ideal candidate for this position. I have been trained as a journalist and I have done creative writing as well. My studies involved a great deal of research and this has taught me how to do research properly and as deeply as needed for each project.

I've studies at the US Naval Academy for 4 years therefore I have a really good knowledge of what it takes to make a good powerpoint presentation (we did many of these back in school) as well as conduct an independent research in any area (especially when it comes to making ethical decisions. Even though I can make a good presentation, you would still have to read some on the information I would provide because a good powerpoint presentation contains very little information and it is up to a speaker to provide that information to the audience.

Cancer Information Specialist Responded in writing to inquiries from physicians, health professionals, and the public about all aspects of cancer, including cancer treatment, clinical trials, wellness after cancer, and other information. Acted as a liaison between the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the general public. Responded to inquiries over the Internet on NCI’s LiveHelp. Wrote and edited phrases for NCI’s Standard Response Library for Internet communications. Health Information Specialist – Genetic and Rare Diseases Investigated information available online pertaining to genetic and rare diseases. Responded to inquiries from physicians, health professionals, and the public regarding genetic and rare diseases. Wrote descriptions of diseases and treatments for publication on NCI's Web site. Translated scientific information into readable summaries describing genetic and rare diseases—their causes, physical manifestations and treatments—for inquirers. Wrote disease summaries for publication on the Internet. Identified resources on the Internet where reliable information could be found. Answered questions about over 1500 diseases in one year.
