Versatile Scientific Virtual Assistant Needed

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Scientific Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support our company, Filtrous, in various scientific and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Acquisition of Product Information: -Reach out to companies to acquire product catalog and pricing information. -Gather comprehensive details about new products. Data Transcription and Spreadsheet Management: -Transcribe catalog and pricing information into organized spreadsheets. -Maintain accurate records of product data. Price Comparison and Analysis: -Conduct price shopping between different companies to ensure competitive pricing. -Analyze pricing data and make recommendations as needed. Product Management on Platforms: -Add new products to Netsuite and Shopify platforms. -Ensure accuracy and consistency in product listings. Product Descriptions: -Utilize ChatGPT to create compelling and informative product descriptions. -Craft descriptions that highlight key features and benefits. Image Search and Management: -Search for relevant product images to accompany listings. -Ensure high-quality images are used across platforms. Documentation Management: -Filtrous Brand existing Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Instructions for Use (IFU), and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). -Create new Cofa, ifu, and msds using existing source material. -Organize data into templates for external validations. Website Maintenance: -Review Filtrous website daily to ensure product accuracy. -Update product images, descriptions, pricing, and other relevant information as necessary. -Organize inventory lists and products on the website. -Script research and writing for various informational videos. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field - molecular biology, microbiology, chemistry, etc. Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the scientific or healthcare industry. Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets). Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Netsuite and Shopify is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English - both verbal and written communication. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Strong organizational and time management skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
